I am writing this because I know we are not alone in making the transition from cruising (living and traveling full time on a boat) and taking our travels to land. The common saying among cruisers is that they are selling their ocean yacht and replacing it with a land yacht. In many ways the systems and experiences on yachts and motor homes are similar and in other ways, not so much. I will be sharing my experiences on both land and sea in hopes that you may find this informative and hopefully entertaining.
Our mission has four parts:
- To provide the reader with insight into transitioning from a life on a boat to one on an RV.
- To recommend specific equipment to make your RV experience more fun.
- To share techniques and tips to make boat and RV ownership a bit less financially onerous.
- To share experiences of our travels including the best places to visit with a boat or an RV.
